The Art of Nate Nielson

Each of Mr. Nielson's paintings depict various aspects of human character using figurative imagery and a blending of visual motifs from his imagination and the world's cultures. He describes the surrounding, decorative shapes as visual manifestations of an invisible, spiritual temperament. His inspiration comes from the unique personalities and diverse viewpoints of people he meets from day to day.
Mr. Nielson has created art throughout his life, holds an MFA, and has taught as professor of art. He has lived across the US and Europe and now resides in Washington state with his wife and two sons. |
